The Madcap Queen of Crona: A female reworking of “The Prince and the Pauper” when American Marcia Avery, on vacation in the little principality of Crona, discovers she is the exact image of the queen of that country, the frivolous Madcap Queen. Marcia and the queen meet one day and become very friendly, after a great deal of persuasion the queen finally induces Marcia to take her place for a week. Romantic complications and the near fall of the monarchy follow until all is resolved happily.
